Kathy Shields was elected to the School Committee from Ward 7 in 2017.  Kathy and her husband David have three daughters, two at Bigelow Middle School and a third at Ward Elementary.  Kathy has been involved in the Ward PTO for many years, and is involved in many other community activities. Professionally, Kathy has been a lawyer for over 20 years, in both the public and private sectors. Her current practice focuses on investigating and prosecuting violations of the federal securities laws. She holds a BA from Cornell University and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
