Emily Prenner was elected to the School Committee from Ward 5 in 2019.  Emily has two kids who attended Angier, Brown and Newton South.  Emily has been an active leader in the Newton Public Schools as PTO president of the Newton Early Childhood Program, Angier, South, and the city-wide PTO Council.  Professionally, Emily has been an IT consultant for a startup company, and then program manager for a Wall Street firm, all focusing on enterprise-wide capacity planning and performance management.  She attended MIT where she studied chemistry and theater.
