High School Transition to Hybrid HyFlex Model

  • January 8, 2020 - Please read this email message that went out from the high school deans to all NPS high school families. It contains instructions for accessing your cohort assignment, as well as the timeline for hybrid implementation. It also contains information on bus registration.

    December 22, 2020 - Please read this email message from Superintendent David Fleishman. It contains information on the number of cohorts for the high school hybrid model, as well as schedule changes to begin in January.

    On December 2, the School Committee voted to support the transition of the high schools to the hybrid HyFlex learning model, as was recommended at the November 16 meeting (view the presentation here.) Below you will find key documents to review:

  • Monday, 12/7 and Tuesday, 12/8 - Information sessions held online by North and South.

    Tuesday, 12/8 - Email to families with form to select Hybrid or Distance-Only learning model 

    Sunday, 12/13 - Selection of learning model must be confirmed

    Wednesday, 12/23 - Number of cohorts is determined and shared with families

    Friday, 1/8/21 - Cohort assignments available to families in Aspen.

    Monday, 1/11/21 - Bus registration open for hybrid high school families

    Wednesday, 1/27/21 - Earliest in-person days begin for Cohort C

    Thursday, 1/28/21 - First in-person day for Cohort B

    Monday, 2/1/21 - First in-person day for Cohort A
