Absence Management System
All staff absences that occur should be entered in the new absence management system. The absence management system can be accessed online.
You may also access the absence management system via phone at 1-800-942-3767. You will need the User ID and PIN number previously provided to you to log-in to this system or to access the system via phone.

Fingerprinting
The Newton Public Schools (NPS) is required by law to conduct a state and national fingerprint criminal background check of all current and prospective school employees, who may have direct and unmonitored contact with children.
Newly hired employees must submit their fingerprints prior to the first date of their employment. Idemia IdentoGO is the state-approved vendor for fingerprinting services. To schedule your fingerprinting appointment, please visit their website (link below). You may also call Idemia at 1-866-349-8130. The Newton Public Schools ID# is 02070000.

ID Badges
Identification badges are required for entry into Newton Public School buildings. All employees are issued an ID badge by our Human Resources department upon hiring as a Newton Public Schools employee.
As an employee, if your ID badge is lost, stolen, or damaged, you may receive a replacement badge through the NPS Facilities Office, located in Room 308 of the Education Center (100 Walnut St.) Please use this form to request a replacement badge. Please note that a fee may be charged for a replacement ID badge. More information can be found in the form linked above.
As an employee, if your name has changed, you must obtain a new ID badge. Please provide proof of the name change to the Human Resources department in Room 201 at the Education Center.
All non-school employees, contractors, etc. must obtain an identification badge by visiting the NPS Facilities Office. Verification of approved CORI and SORI inquiries is required.

Newton Public Schools has partnered with Arx Education to conduct our annual Newton Public Schools Mandatory Training. You will receive an email directly from Arx Education on an annual basis.
