Maureen Riordan
Tara DiPatinoLibrary
Maureen was born and raised in Norwood, Massachusetts. She graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in History and received a Masters in Library Science from Simmons College in 2017. Like most librarians, Maureen's favorite pastime is reading. Her other hobbies include traveling, baking and spending time with her family. She is passionate about making the library a welcoming and inclusive space for all and instilling a love of reading and learning in her students.
Tarah grew up in Hudson, Massachusetts and earned her undergraduate degree in Studio Art at Connecticut College. She always loved to bake and was a pastry chef for many years before changing careers. Growing up in a family of educators prepared her for her new career in education, specifically libraries, where she can share her life-long love of books and reading with students. She earned her Master of Education degree in Library Media Studies at Salem State University and has been very happy ever since. Tarah is married and has two grown daughters. She loves animals, especially cats (she has three at the moment), and loves to trace her family history. Tarah works mostly at the Burr School but is excited to now be teaching one day at Bowen, as well. Her main focus is getting students as excited about reading and learning as she is!

Alisa Granada
Music
Alisa was born in Illinois where she spent her early school years before moving to Seattle, Washington with her family. In the Fall of 2010, Alisa moved to Bedford, Massachusetts with her family. She went on to receive her Bachelors in Music Education at Boston University. Alisa's primary instrument is the oboe. She has enjoyed playing in various orchestras and wind ensembles in and outside of school, along with giving private oboe lessons. Alisa is most passionate about bringing music into children's lives, whether it be through singing, dancing, or listening, and helping them learn to love music as much as she does. In her spare time Alisa enjoys playing the ukulele, singing, spending time with her family, and traveling! She is thrilled to be at Bowen and to be a part of her students' musical lives each and every day!
