These guidelines have been developed to inform the use of Generative AI systems by staff and students in the Newton Public Schools. It addresses concerns of data privacy, terms of service, and academic honesty.
Google Gemini & NotebookLM are now available to faculty and staff with full data privacy (data is not used for training). These specific apps are currently unavailable to students.
However, students can use generative AI features embedded within other approved school apps, provided they strictly follow school and teacher AI guidelines.

Login to Vector Solutions (aka TeachPoint). Click on PD Tracking and then the Available Events tab. Look for courses beginning with ITLS. Click Enroll next to the Time and Sessions.
