Building Rental Request

In January 2025 we were tasked with reviewing our Use of school Buildings pricing schedule. Our room fees, After School charges, and Language School rates were last reviewed in 2017. After careful consideration of not only making room fees more representative of actual costs but the impact on the larger building use community, we arrived at a balanced approach to room fee pricing. The new fee schedule was presented to the School Committee and was approved on 01/15/2025. New fees apply to building use permits where events begin after 07/01/2025 and those events where more than 50% of the events occur after 07/01/2025.

An additional benefit to reviewing the room fees was the opportunity to streamline the space structure. A more simplified space cost format will help eliminate confusion when calculating estimated costs associated with specific events.

There are no changes to custodial fees.
