Dear NPS Community, 

After a whirlwind of a summer, we are back and excited for the 2024-25 school year! 

The DEI Department is now entering its 5th year and we want to extend many thanks to all of the partners and co-conspirators who have shown support for the work and mission of this office and the district. We are so proud of many accomplishments over the years, all of which is done in collaboration with educators, students, caregivers and administrators. The Department functions under the umbrella of NPS’s core mission and values and is aligned with our annual strategic plan. This school year, we will expand our learning and implementation of culturally-responsive practices across all buildings and all grades, continue to invest in diversifying our educator workforce and work to design and reinforce protocols and practices that support the welcoming and belonging of ALL of our community members.
