Safety Procedures and Information
In this section, you will find information to help you navigate safely to and from your student(s) school. You can find information on our "Blue Zones," which are the areas marked near schools where families who are driving their own cars can drop-off and pick up their student(s). We have also provided maps of each school zone so that you can see how students arrive and depart from the school by walking, biking, taking the bus, or driving. For our kindergarten and 1st grade students, you can review the special procedures we have put in place if they are taking the bus. Finally, when winter weather arrives, you will find maps developed by the City of Newton to show where the sidewalks will be plowed.
We appreciate your attention to safety and to following the guidelines we have put in place to ensure students arrive and depart safely from school each day.
