Tarah
DePatinoLibrary
Tarah grew up in Hudson, Massachusetts and earned her undergraduate degree in Studio Art at Connecticut College. She always loved to bake and was a pastry chef for many years before changing careers. Growing up in a family of educators prepared her for her new career in education, specifically libraries, where she can share her life-long love of books and reading with students. She earned her Master of Education degree in Library Media Studies at Salem State University and has been very happy ever since. Tarah is married and has two grown daughters. She loves animals, especially cats (she has three at the moment), and loves to trace her family history. Tarah works mostly at the Burr School but is excited to now be teaching one day at Bowen, as well. Her main focus is getting students as excited about reading and learning as she is!
