Ms. Guzzi is proud to be a member of the Bowen Elementary School community as its Principal. She enjoys working with students, staff, and families to celebrate successes, as well as collaborating to solve problems. Prior to joining Bowen in 2009, Ms. Guzzi was a kindergarten and first grade teacher at Horace Mann and Ward Elementary Schools in Newton. She also taught kindergarten for a year in Mexico. Ms. Guzzi has always loved learning and has been inspired by many of her teachers as she attended the Newton Public Schools and Boston College. When Ms. Guzzi isn't at Bowen, she loves to spend time with her family, especially her children. She also enjoys setting new goals for herself at CrossFit.

Ms. Megrian has enjoyed being a part of the Bowen Community for the past 22 years! Getting to know so many wonderful Bowen families and working with an amazing, professional staff has been fun and rewarding. She has a wonderful husband, two grown sons, one lovely daughter-in-law and a gentle, kind and very friendly pitbull named Daisy.
