November 18, 2020 - Hybrid Model Planning and Survey
Please read this email message from Superintendent Fleishman. It contains information on proposed changes to the elementary hybrid model, as well as a survey to solicit your feedback. The survey needs to be completed by Monday, November 30.
October 26, 2020 - Process to Change Learning Model
Beginning November 2, elementary families may request a change to the current learning model. This process is for families who want to move from Hybrid to the Distance Learning Academy or move from Distance Learning Academy to Hybrid. The form will be open from November 2-5. Nov. 5 - Deadline for Change Request Form
Nov. 24 - Families notified of decision
Nov. 30 - New learning model takes effect
The next opportunity for change will take place in January.
October 21, 2020 - Update on Elementary Hybrid Schedule
At this time, we are unable to extend the elementary in-person day in the hybrid model due to staffing. Please view this message for more details.
October 19, 2020 - Change in Learning Model Timeline
The district expects to release the process for changing a student's learning model (hybrid to DLA or DLA to hybrid) in early November 2020.

October 14, 2020 - Playground Use at Elementary School Buildings
Playground use is restricted to students who are in school and in session during the school day from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. This does mean, unfortunately, that students dismissed at 12:30 p.m. cannot stay after school and use the playground. This is because we do have students who stay until 3:00 p.m. and therefore, we consider the school day still in-session until 3:00 p.m. Students may return to the playground after 3:30 p.m. when it is open to the community.
