Math Graduation Requirements
With an MCAS score of Proficient or Advanced, students must pass 10 credits (2 full years) of math courses.
With an MCAS score of Needs Improvement, students must pass 20 credits (4 full years) of math courses, or pass the EPP Test with Proficient or Advanced and pass 10 credits (2 full years) of math courses. Parents and students will be contacted about specifics if a student is on this pathway.
With an MCAS score of Fail, students must retake the math MCAS (and complete requirement courses based on outcome), or complete an MCAS Portfolio and pass 20 credits (4 full years) of math courses. Parents and students will be contacted about specifics if a student is on this pathway.
These requirements are in addition to the overall school requirements for graduation.
