  • Cost

    Posted by:

The cost of this program is estimated at $3,300. Actual cost will depend on exchange rates, travel and accommodation costs, and number of participants. Airfare to Australia is significant. The FPA Dept is committed to keep costs in check, but acknowledge that simply getting to Melbourne is a costly venture. In 2015 (the last time the program ran) the cost came in at $2900.

Financial assistance is available to all students who qualify through the Jennifer Price Global Education Leadership Fund (GELF). Applications for GELF are due October 23 or January 15 and can be downloaded here.  If you have questions about whether you would qualify for GELF or would like help filling out the application, please contact Global Programs Manager Samantha Mandel at samantha_mandel@newton.k12.ma.us.
