Eligibility
Posted by:Students must be enrolled in Spanish at Newton North and be in good academic standing. Freshmen are not eligible to apply. -
Cost & Financial Assistance
Posted by:The estimated cost for this program is $2,600. The actual cost will depend on exchange rates, travel and accommodation costs, and number of participants. Financial assistance is available to all students who qualify through the GELF fund. If you wish to apply for financial assistance, please complete the Financial Aid Supplement located in the Spanish Exchange application.

Location
Posted by:The exchange alternates every year between Burgos, Spain (in even years) and Guanajuato, Mexico (in odd years). February 2020 will be a Spain year.

Description
Posted by:Language & culture-focused homestay. Newton students live with host families and attend classes at a local high school.
Students also participate in cultural excursions led by Newton Spanish teachers, and host their peers in Newton for two weeks. -
