Newton South Girls Lacrosse Program
The lacrosse program at Newton South High School is committed to the physical, emotional, and social development of its players. The program is an extension of the values and ideals of Newton South High School leading to the development of a well-rounded individual. Newton South lacrosse players will take pride in themselves, their team, their school, and the community while learning to work together towards common goals. The Newton South girls lacrosse program at all levels will strive to develop “Triple Impact Competitors”. These players are student-athletes, meaning the school will always come first.
TEAMWORK CHARACTER COMMITMENT EFFORT
Our coaching philosophy establishes the values of teamwork, character, commitment, and effort with in each player. Players are asked to commit to be present at all team activities including conditioning days, practices, meetings, contests with other schools, and team bonding exercises. Each player is asked to commit and dedicate herself to continually improve as an athlete on and off the field by giving maximum effort at all practices and games, respecting themselves, their teammates, their coaches, their opponents, the refs, and the game of lacrosse. By embracing these values we will be able to build a strong team culture at Newton South.
Season Motto: ONE Team. ONE Goal. NO EXCUSES

Game Schedule (TBD due to changes)
We know this is a challenging time right now for us all. It is important that all players and families support each other right now and their community. At this time, the current start date is April 27th and will go until June 20th. This situation is very fluid and ever-changing right now, so we will do our best to keep everyone updated as more information becomes available. Please do not hesitate to email Molly Estrada (email@example.com) with any questions or concerns related to lacrosse. We hope you all stay safe and healthy in the coming weeks.
