The Newton Partnership provides parent outreach and education in the areas of:
- Safe School Environments and Violence Prevention
- Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Prevention
- Student Behavioral, Social, and Emotional Supports
- Mental Health Services
- Early Childhood Social and Emotional Supports
Over 40 free workshops per year are offered on a range of issues facing parents of children from preschool through high school. Past examples include:
- Internet Safety and Cyberbullying
- Bullying Prevention and Intervention
- Navigating the Rocky Road of Adolescence
- Therapeutic Support Groups for parents of children with mental health concerns
- A Parent Management Training series
- Limit setting workshops for parents of preschoolers
- Workshops focused on helping middle school parents face the tough issues surrounding anger management, drugs, and alcohol
