Directions Grading Rubric Numbers 0 to 110
 

Your task is to write a story problem in French and present it orally to the class in an AppleworksÆ slide show.  You will be graded using the rubric below.  Read it and make sure you understand it.  Your classmatesí task is to solve your story problem and to write their answer in French.

 

1.

Choose one of the following kinds of problems :

     a) The person wants an item or more of an item, and gets some from others.

     b) The person has lots of an item and gives some away.

 

2.

Begin your problem with ìIl y a un/une Ö qui síappelleÖî 

3.

Use numbers between 30 and 199; make sure your answer is not greater than 199.

4.

Have just the right number of steps, say three exchanges at most.  That way, your classmates can do the math easily enough.

5.

Be creative;  have something funny happen, like eating markers,  tripping over something, or singing something funny.  Include several descriptive words.

6.

Check, double check, and triple check your spelling and grammar.

7.

Each project will contain one digital photograph of your choice (which we will take in

in class):

     a)  You dressed up as someone or something in your problem

     b)  A color illustration of your story.

     c)  An interesting display of items from your story.

 

8.

Print a copy of your slideshow to hand in at least one day before the presentation.  Show the answer (including your work) in your own writing.
