A Bulb is a Promise of a Plant to Come
A teacher-led WebQuest for kindergarten students in the Newton Public Schools, Newton, MA.
What does a bulb or seed need to grow into a beautiful, healthy plant? As a part of their unit "Exploring Life Cycles", kindergarten students will design and conduct original experiments to observe and construct knowledge about what bulbs and/or seeds need to grow. Students will synthesize and share their observations and knowledge in an engaging and interactive manner via a PowerPoint Slideshow. Although this WebQuest was originally written to support kindergarten students growing seeds, it can easily be adapted for bulbs.
