Technology - Overview

The Department of Information Technology is committed to providing the necessary technological tools and resources to support the instructional, library media, and administrative needs of the school system. Our mission is to provide staff and students with a robust technology infrastructure, timely assistance, high quality professional development, and effective leadership.

The Department of Information Technology consists of three inter-related programs:  Instructional, Library Media and Administrative Technology. The Instructional Technology and the Library Media Programs are an integral part of the teaching and learning process, preparing all students to succeed as life-long learners, independent thinkers, and problem solvers.

Administrative Technology is responsible for the network architecture and server framework that delivers information technology services to faculty and administrators throughout the district.  Administrative technology also supports most of our administrative functions, such as payroll, purchasing, student and staff data management, state reporting, and library automation, along with the technical expertise to keep these systems efficient and effective.
